Work Experience Dr. Konrad is an Austrian Attorney at Law, a Solicitor of England and Wales and admitted as Euroadvokat in the Slovak and Czech Republic.He specializes in commercial & corporate law, public international law and international commercial and investment arbitration, with particular emphasis on industrial engineering, construction, joint ventures, energy and infrastructure-related matters and commercial and corporate disputes in common and civil law jurisdictions.

He has represented international organizations and private commercial parties in a broad range of cases involving inter alia long-term energy contracts, complex construction contracts, concession agreements, entitlement to natural resources, immunities from jurisdiction, infrastructure projects, mergers and acquisitions, and failed investments in Central and Eastern Europe and Africa. He also advises clients in contract negotiations, public tender proceedings, on the protection of their investment and enforcement of arbitration awards and state court judgments.

Dr. Konrad frequently serves as arbitrator and legal expert in ad-hoc arbitrations and in proceedings under the auspices of all major arbitral institutions and is a regular speaker, lecturer and author in the field of international commercial law, with a particular focus on international arbitration.
