Work Experience Dr. Youssef’s practice focuses on International arbitration and international law. He has experience in complex multiparty proceedings and investor-State arbitrations, particularly involving Middle Eastern parties or applicable law. Dr.Youssef lectures private and international law at Cairo University, School of Law. Before joining the law firm of Cleary Gottlieb, he acted as counsel for the’Cairo Regional Center for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA), the)ministry of Justice of Egypt, the Egyptian Capital Market Authority and the International Human Rights Law Institute of De Paul University in Chicago.
Present Position Dr. Youssef is a professor of private and international law at Cairo University, an associate at the Arbitration and International Law practice of the law firm of Cleary Gottlieb and inter alia a member of the ICC International Arbitration Commission.

Publications Dr. Youssef is widely published on various aspects of international arbitration.
