Education Mr Babadjanian received legal education at University of Latvia (BCL & MA, 1981-1986), Tulane Law School in the US (MLA, 1994-1995), and St Edmund’s College, Cambridge University (LLM, 1995-1997). He also read International Arbitration at St. Anne’s College, University of Oxford and Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Diploma, 2012-2014).

Present Position Mr Babadjanian is a dual qualified lawyer. He is a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England & Wales and a Russian Advocate. Mr Babadjanian is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in London and a Member of the International Council for Commercial Arbitration in The Hague.
His professional career includes training with Healy & Baillie LLP, a Wall Street law firm in New York, and seven years of associateship with Ince & Co LLP, a premier City of London international commercial practice.
Past positions Mr Babadjanian was the head of Moscow operations at DLA Weiss Tessbach Rechtsanwälte GmbH in Vienna, Austria at the launch of its Russian endeavour in 2004, and then the Moscow partner head of DLA Piper’s international dispute resolution group. He had subsequently joined the London and Moscow offices of Dewey & LeBoeuf, a white shoe New York law firm, as the head of their international dispute resolution effort in Russia & CIS.
