He practices exclusively in the area of international commercial arbitration, where he has significant experience of most major institutional rules. As Counsel, he has represented state, state-owned entities, and private investors in numerous large-value complex arbitrations, with an emphasis on investment, construction power generation, and oil and gas disputes. As Arbitrator, he has been appointed to proceedings involving disputes spanning the commercial spectrum. He is a member of the Arbitration Court of London Court of International Arbitration; member of the Distinguished Panel of Neutrals of International Center for Dispute Resolution; member of the editorial board of the Global Arbitration Society; coordinator of the Egyption Arbitration Forum; and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. |
